Importing SMRT Pipe jobs

Note: You must be logged in as a scientist or administrator to perform this function.

You can import an existing SMRT Pipe secondary analysis job for viewing in SMRT Portal. This is useful when:

• A collaborator runs a secondary analysis job, sends you the data, and you want to view it in SMRT Portal.
• You run a secondary analysis job from the command line (without using the web services), and you want to view it in SMRT Portal.

Note: You can visualize an imported SMRT Pipe job using SMRT View.

To import a SMRT Pipe job

1. Click Design Job, then click Import and Manage.
2. Click Import SMRT Cells.
3. Click a directory corresponding to a specific job in the list.
4. Click Scan.
