Viewing secondary analysis data

  1. Click the View Data tab. You see a list of all completed or stopped jobs.
  2. (Optional) Search for a specific job: Enter any search term into the Search field and click Go. Or click Advanced and use multiple search criteria to narrow your search.

  3. (Optional) Group rows by a specific column: Click Group Rows and select the column to group by.

  4. Select a job and click Open.

 

To view reports generated by the secondary analysis:

  1. Select a job and click Open.
  2. Click the desired link in the Reports section of the screen. The reports display on screen.
  3. Click to print the displayed report, or all reports for the job.

 

To email a link to a specific report:

  1. Select a job and click Open.
  2. Click the desired link in the Reports section of the screen. The report displays on screen.
  3. Click . Your default email program opens, with a message that includes a link to the displayed report.

Reports will also display on the Monitor Jobs tab as a job is running and each phase of the job completes.

 

To visualize data from the selected secondary analysis job:

  1. Click SMRT View. SMRT View is a whole genome browser that visualizes secondary analysis data generated by SMRT Portal, using primary analysis data generated by the instrument.

 

To view information about the SMRT Cell data used as input for the secondary analysis job:

  1. Click SMRT Cells in Job.

 

To download data files created by SMRT Portal:
You can use these data files as input for further downstream processing, pass on to collaborators, or upload to public genome sites. Click here for information about the data file types generated by SMRT Portal.

  1. Click the appropriate file in the Data section, located underneath the Reports section on the left. The file is downloaded according to your browser settings.
